In 2024, Marit and Jakob Støre-Valen took over the estate and gave it a new name: Cascina VerdeVios.
 

In Norway, they own and run Marit's old family farm, NerSalberg, set in the beautiful district of Inderøy in Trøndelag. There they grow organic vegetables, keep a range of animals, and run a community-supported agriculture scheme. They have farmed NerSalberg since 2012, and it was certified organic by Debio in 2015.
 

Now they are taking new steps toward a dream they have held for years: to make their own organic wine in Italy. They bring all their experience in farming and organic growing into this new chapter.

Marit and Jakob want a way of farming that cares for the soil and leaves it in better condition for the generations to come.

Their vision, and their passion, is to offer the finest of both Norway and Italy.
By working good soil sustainably, the aim is simple: to benefit the land — and to taste good, too. They want to create a gathering place in beautiful natural surroundings, where people can slow down and share good food and drink in the company of others.
