Cascina VerdeVios
In the renowned Nizza area of Piedmont lies this distinctive estate — the first certified organic vineyard in the district. It is owned by Marit and Jakob Støre-Valen.
The name VerdeVios joins verde — Italian for green — with the idea of life carried in Vios: a green, living vineyard, farmed with sustainability at its heart.
Our logo reflects what we do — winemaking rooted in organic farming and sustainability.
Where tradidion and future meet
The estate was previously owned by Paolo Padovani, an Italian winegrower with a passion for organic cultivation and produce of real character. In those days it was known as Cascina Nuova.
When Marit and Jakob set out to find the right vineyard for their new chapter, they met Paolo and found a shared vision of organic, sustainable farming. Together with the beautiful landscape and the fertile soil, the choice was clear — and so they became the new owners of Cascina VerdeVios.
Cascina VerdeVios — a place where centuries of winemaking tradition meet a green way of thinking, with an eye firmly on the future.
Visiting the estate
